Terms & Conditions

You must be at least 18 years old to register as a passenger or driver. By using our platform, you confirm that:

  • All information you provide is true and accurate;

  • You will comply with all applicable laws in Ghana;

  • You will not use the service for unlawful or harmful activities.

CassRide connects passengers with vetted drivers for transport services. We are a technology platform and do not directly provide transportation. All rides are performed by independent drivers who use our platform.

a. Passengers

Passengers must register and provide a valid phone number and payment method. You agree to pay for any ride you request and take full responsibility for cancellation fees, no-show penalties, or damages.

b. Drivers

Drivers must undergo verification and provide:

  • Valid national ID

  • Driver’s license

  • Roadworthy vehicle with insurance

CassRide may deactivate accounts at its discretion for violations or unsafe conduct.

  • Fares are calculated using distance, time, and demand.

  • Prices may vary due to fuel costs, location, or special promotions.

  • All payments are to be made through the approved mobile money, cash, or card options.

  • Drivers receive earnings minus CassRide’s commission.

  • Passengers may cancel a ride before a driver accepts without penalty.

  • Cancellations after acceptance may incur a fee.

  • Refunds (if any) are handled case-by-case by contacting support@cassride.com.

All users must treat each other with respect and follow these rules:

  • No harassment, discrimination, or abuse

  • No unlawful substances or illegal activities

  • No fraudulent accounts or payments

CassRide reserves the right to suspend or ban any user violating these terms.

Your personal data is protected under Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your data in line with our Privacy Policy.

CassRide is not liable for:

  • Acts or omissions of drivers or passengers

  • Loss, theft, or damage during a ride

  • Delays due to traffic, breakdowns, or force majeure

  • Unauthorized use of your account

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CassRide, its staff, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or legal fees resulting from your use of the platform or violation of these Terms.

CassRide may update these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website with a new effective date. Continued use of the platform implies acceptance of any changes.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in Ghana.
